GW2 - Fan Made Interactive Map of Tyria

lpdumas of GitHub/b00mb0 on Reddit has been working on his own interactive map of Tyria. The project is still in the works but already has some cool interaction options, it currently allows you to -
- Click the map
- Note the coord that will pop up
- Note the type of the marker (waypoint, hearts, skill points, etc)
- And give a small description
Upcoming options include users will be able to place marker and export them to a JSON, to facilitate sharing as well as HTML5 API (local storage), so that everyone can have their own custom map.
He states that his goal is to eventually make the greatest interactive map of Tyria, and welcomes feedback and anyone who wants to work on the project.

GW2 - BWE #02 Impressions
The following is a brief summary of the impressions I had of BWE02 for Guild Wars 2, as a beta, compared to the previous BWE, and in consideration of how far along the game is as well as how well its living up to the features advertised for the game.
Most of the topics I’ll be discussing in further depth as the week progresses, but for now I’ll provide a brief summary of the beta impressions which can be found after the jump.
Reddit user omlech compiled a very extensive set of images that covers the appearance of 171 different dye colours on light armour, to check out the image set click the title link or follow this link.
Members of the community have taken the initiative to put together a survey to gather information about impressions and in game behaviours and preferences of their fellow GW2 community members!
The survey itself is fairly extensive and could provide some interesting information about the Guild Wars 2 player base were it to get enough feedback. If you feel up to putting in your two cents, check out the google docs survey by Reddit user JimmyBisMe here.
